Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Clinique La Prairie is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Tabuk, with operations spanning Umluj and Tabuk. This full-time role involves operating, maintaining, and repairing the hotel's electrical systems to ensure optimal efficiency, adhering to CLP standards. The position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement CLP policies and standards for energy conservation, water and sewage quality control, fire prevention, and life safety programs.
• Ensure effective preventive and routine maintenance of plant and equipment.
• Manage energy management systems and procedures, including Pomec logs and utility consumption.
• Conduct inspections and supervise staff, ensuring adherence to Pemec labor standards and cost controls.
• Maintain the appearance and housekeeping of all equipment, plant rooms, and related workshops.
• Oversee the proper organization and functioning of the energy management within the Pomec department.
• Determine six-monthly operating efficiencies of major equipment and implement corrective measures for deviations.
• Support and initiate programs for procedural improvements and cost reduction.
• Establish and maintain effective employee relations and participate in fire prevention training programs.
• Utilize training resources to enhance subordinates' skills and prepare them for future opportunities.
• Develop and implement routine plant preventive maintenance programs.
• Ensure the hotel's repair and maintenance order system aligns with CLP policy.
• Provide a 10–15-minute response for all urgent maintenance requests, including guest requests.
• Communicate with guests to confirm satisfactory completion of maintenance requests.
• Perform facility and safety checks before functions/events and throughout the premises to eliminate hazards.
• Coordinate with F&B and Housekeeping departments for all function/event requirements.
• Provide work direction, resolve problems, prepare schedules, and set deadlines.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety rules during maintenance and repair work.
• Monitor and supervise subordinates' work and the results of delegated assignments.
• Establish courses of action to accomplish specific work schedules and manage time efficiently.
• Attend and contribute to engineering departmental meetings and perform assigned special projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in international hotels.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be an effective team player, capable of building team morale with a passionate and energetic approach.
• Strong execution and follow-up skills.

Work Environment

The Electrical Engineer will work under the guidance of the Chief Engineer or a designated delegate, contributing to a team focused on maintaining high operational standards within the hotel environment.
