Low Current Technician

About the Role

FNRCO is seeking a Low Current Technician to join their team in Tabuk, with opportunities in Umluj. This is a contract position requiring 2-5 years of experience in low current systems. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various low current systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain low-current systems and associated equipment.
• Perform testing and commissioning for CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address (PA), and Structured Cabling systems.
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults within low-current systems.
• Conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance activities as required.
• Read and accurately interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure all installations adhere to project specifications and established safety standards.
• Coordinate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and clients throughout project execution.
• Prepare comprehensive maintenance reports and maintain accurate service records.
• Support system upgrades, modifications, and expansions.
• Ensure proper documentation and inventory management of tools and materials.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a Low Current Technician or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to work with various low current systems including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, and Structured Cabling.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation such as drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving system faults.

Work Environment

This role is a contract position based in Tabuk, with work also available in Umluj. The technician will work as part of a team, collaborating with engineers and supervisors to deliver projects and maintain systems effectively.
