Role Overview: Quantity Surveyor

Jacobs is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its team in Neom, Tabuk, or Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, site-based role involves providing commercial and contractual support for a major water infrastructure project during its close-out phase. The Quantity Surveyor will be instrumental in ensuring the project is commercially reconciled, contractually compliant, and successfully transitioned through handover and close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, measure, and verify completed works for interim and final valuations.
• Assess contractor payment applications and prepare recommendations in accordance with contract requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, variations, and commercial correspondence.
• Support the preparation, negotiation, and agreement of final accounts with contractors and subcontractors.
• Review and evaluate variations, compensation events, and scope changes.
• Assist with the assessment and resolution of claims, commercial disputes, and contractual matters.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, and expenditure against approved budgets.
• Prepare and support monthly commercial reports, forecasts, and cost reconciliations.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, project controls, and client teams to ensure timely commercial close-out.
• Support project handover activities by ensuring all commercial obligations and contractual deliverables are completed.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within water infrastructure projects or similar large-scale construction environments.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time, site-based position located in Neom, Tabuk, or Riyadh, within the All SA Regions.
