Site QA/QC Manager

About the Opportunity

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced and proactive Site QA/QC Manager to lead the quality function on a major infrastructure construction supervision project. This full-time role is based in Tabuk, with responsibilities covering projects in Umluj and Tabuk. The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing, implementing, and maintaining a robust quality management system across various disciplines, including roads, tunnels, utilities, and bridge works.

Role Overview

The Site QA/QC Manager will be responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and control activities throughout the construction phases of the project. This involves developing and managing the project-specific Quality Management Plan, ensuring alignment with Parsons’ corporate standards and client requirements. The role requires a leader who can guide the QA/QC team and ensure compliance with stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the QA/QC team and supervise quality assurance and control activities across all construction phases.
• Develop, implement, and manage the project-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP), ensuring it aligns with Parsons’ corporate standards and client requirements.
• Review and approve contractor’s QA/QC documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, materials submittals, and quality procedures.
• Monitor the contractor’s adherence to quality standards and ensure proper execution of inspections and testing protocols.
• Lead quality audits and surveillance inspections on-site, and coordinate third-party laboratory and field testing.
• Manage the issuance, tracking, and closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), observations, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Prepare and present quality reports and dashboards for senior management and client review.
• Provide guidance and training to the supervision team to foster a strong quality culture.
• Liaise with the client, contractor, and Parsons’ engineering team to resolve quality-related issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within infrastructure construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience in establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems.
• Proven ability to lead a QA/QC team and manage quality activities across multiple disciplines.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, with project responsibilities extending to Umluj. The role involves working on a major infrastructure construction supervision project, collaborating with various stakeholders including the client, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
