About the Role: ILOC Teamcenter Small Task Management Specialist

BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated ILOC Teamcenter Small Task Management Specialist to join its team in Taif. This full-time role is integral to the Integrated Logistics Operation Centre (ILOC) within the Typhoon Support Centre (TSC), operating at King Fahad Air Base (KFdAB).

Role Purpose and Operational Context

As a Contractor Manpower Substitution (CMS) role, the specialist will be part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for integrating Typhoon Fleet Engineering Operations across various Typhoon Main Operating Bases and the Scheduled Maintenance and Upgrade Unit (SMU). The primary objective is to ensure the day-to-day maintenance of the Teamcenter toolset and to meticulously record, track, and report progress on all small tasks managed through the Teamcenter application, including assets and resources, to meet RSAF operational and other requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting Function Managers and Team Leaders in planning tasks within the Teamcenter database.
  • Calling and leading task planning and prioritisation meetings with appropriate Typhoon stakeholders as required.
  • Provision of impact statements in the event of priority conflicts.
  • Day-to-day liaison with the Typhoon stakeholder community, particularly TSC functional leads and Maintenance Operations Flight (MOF) counterparts, to assist in the delivery of tasks being managed in Teamcenter.
  • Recording, tracking, and reporting progress of tasks being managed within Teamcenter.
  • Maintaining the Typhoon Aircraft State Sheet (TASS) to ensure it is current and updated.
  • Highlighting issues relating to timely delivery of tasks against the requirements of the Regulatory Framework for Logistics (RFL).
  • Provision of support and maintenance of the Teamcenter application, acting as the primary point of contact for Teamcenter support issues.
  • Production and distribution of reports and returns as directed by the ILOC Manager.
  • Assisting in the preparation of and, if necessary, delivering a daily ILOC Brief to key stakeholders.
  • Providing counterpart development for all staff, RSAF or other Saudi National assigned to the ILOC, in the form of coaching, consolidation, and work experience as appropriate.
  • Developing and maintaining TSC Processes and Procedures relating to ILOC.
  • Encouraging and championing Change Management and acting as an effective Change Agent as directed.
  • Undertaking any additional, reasonable tasks as may arise from time to time requested by TSC and RSAF Management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Essential:
    • Educated to HNC level or possess equivalent experience, or have experience supported by formal, recorded workplace applied related training.
    • Experience of aircraft operation, maintenance, and support.
    • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver tasks to demanding deadlines.
    • Problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to set and manage work direction in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Developed interpersonal skills to track and report on a large number of diverse activities, and the ability to communicate, influence, and direct the decision-making process at all levels.
    • Experience of a computerised work recording and asset management system such as Typhoon Engineering Support system (ESS).
    • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Desirable:
    • Experience in Typhoon or other fast jet platforms.
    • Experience in an aircraft military support/maintenance environment at Supervisory/Rectification Controller level.
    • Familiarity with the Teamcenter application as a user.
    • Familiarity with Tier 1 support of an IT system such as Teamcenter.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
    • Completion of a recognised aircraft engineering apprenticeship in industry/military or similar qualification in aircraft systems engineering.
    • Previous experience in an engineering operations environment.
