El Seif Operation and Maintenance is seeking an Electrical Technician to join its team in Turaif, Northern Frontier. This full-time role involves contributing to the maintenance and installation of electrical systems within the company's operations.

The Role: Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician performs essential electrical wiring and lighting repairs and installations. This role primarily focuses on low voltage electrical systems (below 500 V), encompassing electrical wiring networks, distribution panels, and various low voltage components and peripheral applications. The technician will execute basic tasks independently and more skilled electrical maintenance, installation, and repair under the guidance of a senior technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and trace faults within LV electrical wiring networks.
• Perform maintenance and repair of lighting fixtures and other small electrical peripherals.
• Operate power hand tools and various test equipment.
• Conduct visual inspections on electrical connections, wiring, and the status of electrical equipment.
• Execute works on LV networks as directed by superiors.
• Apply safety procedures and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all work activities.
• Maintain punctuality in attendance.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess relevant experience in electrical maintenance and repair, with specific requirements based on educational background:

• Two (2) years of experience if holding a three-year Technical Diploma.
• Four (4) years of experience if holding a Technical Certificate.
• Six (6) years of relevant experience in addition to a one-year apprentice certificate.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Turaif, Northern Frontier. The role requires hands-on involvement in electrical systems within a structured operational and maintenance environment.
