About the Role

El Seif Operation and Maintenance is seeking a dedicated Heating Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in Turaif, Northern Frontier, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems within various building facilities. The ideal candidate will possess practical, hands-on experience in facilities management and building maintenance, specifically within HVAC and MEP projects, rather than solely installation or construction work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC systems in building facilities.
• Inspect HVAC systems and equipment regularly, reporting all findings accurately.
• Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical faults within HVAC systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls and resolve issues within specified timeframes.
• Identify necessary spare parts and support the spare parts request process.
• Support testing and commissioning activities as required.
• Maintain basic maintenance records, registers, and reports.
• Support supervisors and engineers in the planning and completion of maintenance tasks.

Technical Scope

The technician will be responsible for working on a variety of DX and chilled water systems. This includes, but is not limited to, split units, packaged units, ducted split systems, VRV/VRF systems, Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), Constant Air Volume (CAV) and Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems, and other related HVAC equipment. Tasks will also involve replacing or repairing HVAC controls and electronic components, as well as installing or repairing refrigerant lines, chilled water lines, make-up lines, and drain lines.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant technical role.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in Facilities Management, building maintenance, HVAC maintenance, and MEP projects.
• Proven practical experience specifically within building facilities environments.

Operational Compliance and Safety

Adherence to operational standards and safety protocols is paramount for this position. The technician must diligently follow all site safety procedures, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, isolation protocols, risk assessments, and work permit procedures. All work must be completed in accordance with project Service Level Agreements (SLA) and established quality standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Turaif, Saudi Arabia, where the technician will contribute to maintaining critical building infrastructure. The role involves working collaboratively within a team, providing essential support to supervisors and engineers to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
