The Role of Marine Construction Director

The Marine Construction Director will assume leadership and management responsibilities for large-scale shore and offshore construction projects. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with established quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all shore and offshore construction activities, including the oversight of teams, equipment, subcontractors, and resources.
• Oversee specialized marine works such as ports, harbors, jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, dredging operations, and land reclamation projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, contractual agreements, quality assurance, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Resolve technical and construction-related issues that arise during project lifecycles.
• Provide essential support for tendering processes and business development initiatives.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Marine Construction Director position must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in marine construction. This experience should demonstrate a strong capability in leading and managing complex projects within the sector.
