About Red Sea Global and Botanica
Red Sea Global is seeking a PMO Lead for Planning, Performance & Transformation to join Botanica, a subsidiary specializing in sustainable greenery for Red Sea Global’s destinations. Botanica integrates new species with local flora, operating over 1 million square meters with a planet-first approach to sustainability. Since 2020, Botanica has cultivated over 5 million plants, with a goal of 30 million by 2030, shaping the natural landscapes of The Red Sea & Amaala. The team includes 40% from the local community and is committed to ecological harmony. This full-time position is based in Tabuk, specifically in Umluj or Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
Role Purpose and Context
The PMO Lead acts as the Operational General Manager's central point of control for planning, performance, and transformation within Botanica. This role involves owning the integrated business plan, the operational planning cycle, the KPI scorecard, business unit performance reviews, cost and variance control (in collaboration with Finance), the risk register, and the portfolio of strategic initiatives aimed at growing Botanica's revenue streams and capabilities. The role operates at the core of a business with multiple revenue streams and business units that share resources. A key challenge is maintaining a single, consistent version of the truth across plans, financial models, and presentations, ensuring reconciliation with confirmed data sources and addressing any conflicts directly.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the annual business plan and budget calendar with Finance and all departments, consolidating an integrated plan based on figures.
- Maintain the financial and operational planning assumptions register and its version history.
- Manage the portfolio of strategic initiatives (new revenue streams, capacity expansion, new client segments, digital and process improvement) with clear governance, schedules, and stage gates.
- Prepare and challenge business cases with Finance, tracking benefits post-implementation.
- Maintain decision and action logs for the leadership team and escalate slippage proactively.
- Conduct monthly business unit reviews covering revenue, margin, cost, productivity, and service KPIs for each revenue stream.
- Identify under-performing streams or contracts and drive agreed recovery actions.
- Run the monthly sales and operations planning (S&OP) cycle, integrating demand, supply, capacity, cost, and cash.
- Lead capacity, manpower, and logistics/dispatch planning to align resources with commitments.
- Design the KPI framework and cascade it from Botanica level to departments and sections.
- Produce monthly performance packs and dashboards, facilitating monthly performance reviews chaired by the Operational General Manager.
- Own the productivity measurement methodology to ensure consistent and auditable figures.
- Track actual vs. plan by cost center and contract with Finance, analyzing variances to root cause and tracking corrective actions.
- Maintain cost-to-complete and contract profitability forecasts for major contracts and initiatives.
- Maintain the Botanica risk register and RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) with named owners and mitigations.
- Prepare board papers and GCEO presentation packs, ensuring all figures are traceable to confirmed data sources.
- Manage the initiative and capex portfolio, including business cases, stage gates, and post-implementation reviews.
- Lead the Planning & Performance and Control sections (9 FTE per OD Finalized), building planning, data, and project-control capabilities.

- Follow and enforce all relevant Botanica and RSG Group policies, delegation of authority (DoA), processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
- Apply and champion the safety, quality, and environmental management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and the compliance management system (ISO 37301).
- Identify and lead opportunities for continuous improvement in department systems, processes, and practices, focusing on cost reduction, productivity improvement, and client value.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in planning, performance management, or transformation roles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage integrated business plans and operational cycles.
- Experience in KPI framework design and performance review facilitation.
- Proficiency in cost control, variance analysis, and risk management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building team capabilities.
Work Environment
This role is based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, with potential work in Umluj. It is a full-time position within a dynamic environment focused on sustainable development and ecological harmony. The role requires collaboration across various departments and business units within Botanica and Red Sea Global.
