About Red Sea Global and the Role

Red Sea Global (RSG), through its subsidiary Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE), is developing and operating outstanding land and marine experiences at The Red Sea destination. RSSE manages a diverse portfolio including water sports via Galaxea. We are seeking a Water Sports Supervisor to join our team in Tabuk, specifically in Umluj, on a full-time basis. This role is crucial for delivering premium guest experiences within a luxury marine tourism environment.

Role Overview

The Water Sports Supervisor is a site-based operational leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily execution, safety, and quality of all water sports activities within the assigned asset. This role ensures the smooth coordination of instructors, guest activities, and equipment readiness, maintaining high standards of safety, service excellence, and operational efficiency. The Supervisor acts as a key link between the Water Sports Manager and frontline instructors, supporting the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Water Sports Manager in the daily management and operation of all water sports activities.
  • Supervise water sports instructors and operational staff to ensure consistent delivery of safe and high-quality experiences.
  • Coordinate daily activity schedules, guest allocations, and resource planning.
  • Oversee the daily execution of all water sports activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Monitor weather, sea conditions, and environmental factors to ensure safe operations.
  • Ensure all equipment is prepared, inspected, and ready for safe use prior to operations.
  • Act as an escalation point for operational issues, guest concerns, and safety incidents.
  • Ensure safety is the highest priority, enforcing compliance with safety procedures, risk assessments, and emergency protocols.
  • Conduct routine safety checks and operational inspections of equipment and activity areas.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance to instructors to ensure consistent service quality and safety compliance.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and operational reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, safety standards, and guest experience.
  • Assist in the setup and readiness of water sports facilities, equipment, and operational systems during pre-opening phases.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certified Water Sports Instructor or equivalent qualification (*, ISA, RYA, or recognized authority).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in water sports instruction or marine tourism operations.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role is preferred.
  • Strong background in multiple water sports disciplines.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification (up to date).
  • Strong understanding of water safety, rescue techniques, and risk management.

Work Environment and Expectations

This role operates within a luxury marine tourism and water sports environment. It requires flexibility to work outdoors, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons. The position involves active participation in live operations and guest-facing activities, with exposure to varying marine and weather conditions. The Water Sports Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality guest experiences.
