Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy is seeking a qualified Saudi National Electrical Engineer to join its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and Wadi Ad Dawasir, Saudi Arabia, with a gross monthly salary of SAR 8,000. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of the company's solar power assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee routine operations, preventive maintenance, and corrective troubleshooting of site electrical systems.
• Perform basic and advanced electrical maintenance on transformers, switchgears, inverters, and distribution panels.
• Monitor solar array performance metrics, track faults via SCADA systems, and maintain the PV field.
• Conduct regular diagnostics, voltage checks, and insulation testing to minimize plant downtime.
• Ensure all field maintenance activities strictly adhere to local safety regulations and company HSE standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi National.
• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant electrical engineering role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain electrical systems in a solar power environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the Operations & Maintenance team, requiring on-site presence in Riyadh and Wadi Ad Dawasir. The role involves working directly with solar power assets and adhering to stringent safety protocols.
