About the Role

Kempinski Hotel in Yanbu is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable - Saudi Only professional to join its full-time finance team. This role is fundamental to ensuring the accuracy, validity, and timely processing of all invoices, contributing to the hotel's efficient financial operations.

Invoice and Creditor Management

• Communicate with department heads, the purchasing department, cost controller, creditors, and suppliers to clarify invoice details and respond to queries.
• Ensure all creditors receive prompt and professional payments.
• Verify the accuracy of all invoices prior to posting and confirm correct account allocation.
• Supervise the validity of contracts before processing any payments against them.
• Maintain proper creditor files for future reference, ensuring all invoices are original, supported by appropriate documentation, and approved by department heads before payment processing.
• Follow up on all outgoing and incoming financial documents.
• Ensure all suppliers’ accounts are up to date in terms of payments.

Financial Reporting and Controls

• Check and approve all issued cheques before submitting them to the Financial Controller for signature.
• Accrue all expenses incurred during the month for month-end closure, particularly if invoices have not yet been received.
• Print and file all required reports at month-end in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Balance all inventories with Cost Control during the month-end closing process.
• Process any corrections pertaining to the previous month after closing exclusively through Journal Vouchers, with approval from the Financial Controller.
• Reconcile and file advance payments to supplier accounts on a monthly basis, distributing copies as required.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Controller to ensure all payments adhere to the established liquidity forecast.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or similar financial role.
• This position is open to Saudi nationals only.

Workplace Expectations

• Understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules and regulations.
• Report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
