CONSULTANT OPHTHALMOLOGY

About the Role

The Royal Commission Medical Center Yanbu is seeking a Consultant in Ophthalmology to join its team in Yanbu. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in the field and focuses on providing comprehensive ophthalmic care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Make decisions regarding patient care plans.
• Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity.
• Interact professionally with patients and their families, involving them in the formation of care plans.
• Conduct daily clinical rounds personally or through a designated person, if applicable.
• Be available for calls after hours for patient-related issues.
• Examine, assess, and provide investigation and treatment orders for medical/surgical patients admitted under their care in a timely manner, in accordance with RCMC policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized medical school and hold a Saudi board or equivalent degree.
• Hold a specialty qualification or equivalent.
• Complete a period of experience not less than 3 years in the field of specialization in a recognized hospital or health center.
• Achieve a grade of (Good) and above in relevant qualifications.
• Hold valid SCFHS classification and registration.
• Possess university certificates equalization if the certificate is from a non-Saudi institution.

Experience

Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the field of ophthalmology within a recognized hospital or health center.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at the Royal Commission Medical Center Yanbu in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The role involves direct patient care and collaboration within a medical team.
