Generalist Service Representative I

About the Role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Generalist Service Representative I to join their team in Al Madinah, covering locations including Yanbu and Medina. This full-time position is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of customer equipment, with a focus on Schneider Electric products. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety and cybersecurity policies, practices, and procedures.
• Perform startup and commissioning for Schneider Electric products and competitive equipment.
• Conduct preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Analyze and interpret technical procedures, governmental regulations, and equipment issues, providing appropriate solutions.
• Analyze and explain report results to customers and management.
• Respond to emergency calls and interventions, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
• Maintain service equipment, tools, and documentation.
• Track installed base (serviceable assets) and advise customers on optimization opportunities.
• Perform basic audits of customer’s electrical systems and equipment.
• Utilize digital tools designed for Schneider Electric Field Service Representatives.
• Identify and generate sales leads for business opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair customer equipment.
• Proficiency in testing circuits and equipment using various tools, software, and circuit diagrams.
• Knowledge of systems and electronics to isolate and correct equipment malfunctions.
• Willingness to learn new technical, digital, and soft skills.
• Certification and accreditation may be required based on business and country regulations.

Internal and External Interactions

This role involves regular interaction with customers, as well as internal teams including planners, operations leaders, technical support, quality, project managers, and the commercial team. The Field Service Representative will support planners, coordinators, and project managers in understanding customer site conditions and escalating any quality or technical issues detected in the field.
