About the Role of Mechanical Engineer

Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Al Madinah, specifically covering operations in Yanbu and Medina. This full-time position requires applying mechanical engineering expertise within the Maintenance Department to support operational objectives.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of this role is to contribute to the Maintenance Department's planned objectives by conducting technical studies, performing conceptual and detailed design, and recommending modifications and developments. The Mechanical Engineer will leverage their knowledge to enhance asset maintenance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Study, evaluate, and propose maintenance improvements related to asset maintenance.
• Mitigate maintenance issues to ensure the availability of assets.
• Guide the maintenance team by providing technical support.
• Optimize spares for the assets.
• Review Maintenance Procedures periodically.
• Train supporting staff in maintenance activities.
• Participate in Project Document review and assist in construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Prepare blanket agreement contracts for various maintenance activities.
• Prepare PM schedules for refinery rotating equipment.
• Supervise Shutdown/Turnaround activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must possess over 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within a maintenance department context. The role requires a strong understanding of technical studies, design principles, and maintenance optimization.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Al Madinah region, with responsibilities extending to operations in Yanbu and Medina. The role involves working within the Maintenance Department of Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef, contributing to the stability and efficiency of critical assets.
