Senior Business Analyst

About the Role

United Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Al Madinah, with locations in Yanbu and Medina. This full-time role is central to the company's Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, focusing on data analysis and business analysis. The Senior Business Analyst will ensure that all S&OP decisions are based on reliable data and clear insights.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Senior Business Analyst serves as the custodian of all data utilized in United Group's S&OP. This involves collecting, validating, and governing demand, supply, inventory, and cost data. The role transforms this data into actionable insights and recommendations, ensuring a single, trusted version of the truth for every S&OP decision.

Key Responsibilities

• Own all S&OP master and operational data, including SKUs, formulation, materials, customers, suppliers, lead times, min/max levels, capacities, and costs.
• Define and enforce data standards, ownership, and update frequency across departments.
• Conduct regular data quality checks for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness, and resolve discrepancies with data owners.
• Maintain a single data dictionary and KPI definitions to ensure consistent reporting across functions.
• Collect data from various sources including ERP, production, MRP, sales orders, procurement, shipment schedules, and market intelligence.
• Develop and maintain automated data models and pipelines to streamline data consolidation.
• Reconcile data between systems and physical stock, providing explanations for variances.
• Maintain demand history, support baseline forecasting, and track forecast accuracy and bias.
• Develop the supply view, covering production capacity, raw material coverage, inventory projections, and constraints.
• Run scenarios for demand changes, raw material shortages, vessel delays, and price movements, quantifying their impact on volume, service, and margin.
• Design and manage S&OP dashboards and Operational KPI scorecards.
• Translate data into clear insights regarding changes, their causes, and recommended actions.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis for management on stock deviations, raw material consumption vs. standard, service levels, cost-to-serve, and working capital (raw material and packaging).

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role requires a strong background in data analysis and business analysis, with a focus on S&OP processes and data governance.

This is a full-time position based in Al Madinah, with operations spanning Yanbu and Medina. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on optimizing sales and operations planning through robust data management and analysis.
