Site Engineer

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Site Engineer to join their team in Yanbu. This full-time position requires an experienced professional with 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering and site development. The Site Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and oversight of construction and infrastructure development projects, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and project timelines.

Role Overview

The Site Engineer will play a key role in ensuring that all phases of site work, from earthworks to utility installations, are completed according to engineering drawings, safety protocols, and project schedules. This role demands in-depth knowledge of civil engineering practices, site development, and military housing standards to ensure compliance and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Supervise and inspect civil works on-site, including grading, drainage, utility installations (water, sewer, electricity), and road works.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local codes, regulations, and military standards.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and architectural teams for integrated site execution.
• Develop detailed work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor daily site operations and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Enforce safety regulations and participate in safety audits.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure construction meets project specifications and standards.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, labor logs, material usage, and inspection reports.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support during reviews or site inspections.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in site engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of civil engineering practices and site development.
• Familiarity with military housing standards is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, within a professional consulting environment. The role involves regular on-site supervision and coordination with various project stakeholders.
