About the Role

The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu is seeking a Staff Nurse - III for the Female Medical Ward in Yanbu. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and involves providing comprehensive patient care within a hospital setting, adhering to established policies and promoting organizational values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to and promote the organization's mission, ethics, goals, customer service, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Monitor compliance with legislative requirements and organizational policies, taking action to correct non-compliance.
  • Attend and actively participate in assigned committee meetings and departmental meetings (75% attendance required).
  • Demonstrate ongoing continuous education and maintain RCMC annual competencies.
  • Perform holistic basic and bedside patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist in patient assessment, gather health history, and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Provide individualized patient/family education on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  • Document all aspects of patient care concisely, accurately, and completely in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Practice infection control methods/protocols and maintain awareness of safety protocols.
  • Initiate emergency resuscitative measures according to adult resuscitation protocols.
  • Integrate trans-cultural principles into nursing care.

Administrative and Professional Conduct

  • Adhere to RCMC Policy and Procedure (computer system) annually, assisting in implementation and interpretation.
  • Prepare reports as required and adhere to the RCMC dress code, wearing identification while on duty.
  • Adhere to the chain of command and maintain organizational confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain a good rapport and cooperative working relationship with physicians and staff.
  • Maintain regulatory requirements, including national and JCI regulations.
  • Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner.
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record.

Patient Assessment and Care Delivery

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments upon admission, gathering medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
  • Develop individualized nursing care plans based on assessment data, patient preferences, and evidence-based practice guidelines under supervision.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and response to therapy, addressing changes promptly.
  • Provide care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner sensitive to adult or elderly patients and their families.

Qualifications and Requirements
