The Role of AV Technician

As an AV Technician, you will join the Engineering team at Rosewood Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves maintaining exceptional operational standards across the resort, specifically focusing on audio-visual systems. You will report within the Engineering function and collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless technological and event experiences for guests and associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment, including projectors, LED screens, microphones, and related systems.
• Support conferences, events, and entertainment activities by delivering high-quality AV services and technical assistance.
• Coordinate with event teams to ensure smooth execution and guest experiences during live functions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure AV equipment remains in optimal working condition.
• Adhere to safe rigging, cabling, electrical, and operational practices, and respond efficiently to technical issues during live events.
• Provide flexible support across the Engineering team and assist with departmental operations as business needs require.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of audio-visual systems and equipment operation.
• Ability to support live events in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
• Proactive approach to equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Capability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and communicate effectively with guests and associates.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, including working various shifts based on operational requirements.
