About the Captain Role at St. Regis

St. Regis is seeking a Captain to join its team. This full-time role focuses on delivering a memorable and unique dining experience for guests, extending beyond basic food service. The Captain takes initiative to provide a wide range of services, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting tables and preparing dining areas.
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
• Interacting with and serving guests, making transactions feel integrated into the dining experience.
• Cleaning work areas, dining spaces, and supplies.
• Maintaining a safe workplace and adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Upholding quality standards in service and presentation.
• Ensuring professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication.
• Managing menus, which includes reading and visually verifying information.
• Performing physical tasks such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving over various surfaces, and lifting objects up to 25 pounds without assistance or 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
• License or Certification: None specified.
