About the Captain Role at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Captain to join the team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position focuses on creating a memorable dining experience for guests, extending beyond basic food service. The Captain plays a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and efficient operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Setting tables and preparing dining areas for service.
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
• Interacting with and serving guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Cleaning work areas and maintaining supplies.
• Handling transactions as part of the overall guest experience.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The role requires physical activity and attention to detail. Candidates should be prepared for the following:

• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, including movement over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Reading and visually verifying information, such as menus.
• Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
