About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Captain for a full-time position in the Red Sea region. This role focuses on providing a memorable and unique dining experience for guests, extending beyond basic food service to include comprehensive guest interaction and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiating and delivering a range of services to ensure guest satisfaction during meals.
• Setting tables and preparing dining areas.
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
• Interacting with and serving guests, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
• Cleaning work areas and maintaining supplies.
• Ensuring transactions are handled as an integrated part of the guest experience.
• Creating a safe workplace and adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Upholding quality standards in all aspects of service.
• Maintaining a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This role requires physical activity including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving over varied surfaces such as sloping, uneven, or slippery areas. The Captain will need to read and visually verify information, including menus. The position involves a hands-on approach to work, requiring the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping are also required.
