About the Role

Apparel Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for performing essential carpentry maintenance, repairs, and installations across various facilities. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience who can ensure high-quality workmanship in line with established safety protocols and company standards.

Role Objective

The primary objective of this position is to deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality carpentry services. The Carpenter will ensure all work adheres to stringent safety protocols, company standards, and project timelines, with a strong focus on minimizing rework. This involves a proactive approach to maintenance and efficient resolution of repair needs to support operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive carpentry maintenance tasks, including the installation, repair, and replacement of doors, partitions, shelving, cabinetry, and other wood fixtures.
  • Execute basic painting and wall preparation duties, such as surface priming, patching, and finish coating, as required by project scope.
  • Carry out tile installation and repair work, ensuring precise alignment, leveling, and adherence to brand and safety standards.
  • Assess assigned maintenance scopes and recommend cost-effective material and construction solutions to optimize project efficiency.
  • Complete all tasks according to the project schedule, ensuring full compliance with company standards and safety procedures.
  • Respond promptly to urgent repair calls and efficiently resolve carpentry, painting, or tiling-related issues to minimize disruption.
  • Source or request necessary materials in advance to ensure uninterrupted execution of work and avoid delays.
  • Ensure the proper use, handling, and maintenance of all carpentry tools, painting supplies, and tile equipment.
  • Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and blueprints to guide project execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and completed work for reporting and documentation purposes.
  • Coordinate effectively with supervisors, electricians, masons, and other maintenance staff to support integrated project delivery.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with suppliers, supervisors, and team members when necessary.

Required Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in carpentry, maintenance, and related trades.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of carpentry, painting, and tiling tasks.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and construction standards.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills for collaborative project work.
  • Ability to assess situations, recommend solutions, and manage materials efficiently.
