About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Cluster IT Projects & Transformation Assistant Manager to join our team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the comprehensive management, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure and systems across the cluster. The role involves ensuring the operational efficiency and security of all technological assets.

Core Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager will be instrumental in maintaining robust IT operations, providing essential user support, and contributing to system enhancements. Key responsibilities include:

• Installing, configuring, managing, and maintaining computer networks, workstations, and server systems.
• Supporting hardware, software, user accounts, and managing computer/telephone rooms.
• Training and instructing users on proper system use and security protocols.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving technical problems related to computer hardware, software, LAN, WAN, and internet issues.
• Responding to program error messages and providing network communications support and technical guidance.

IT Project Support and System Enhancement

This role extends beyond daily operations to include strategic input and project coordination, ensuring continuous improvement and security across all IT functions. Specific duties involve:

• Analyzing, recommending, and implementing process improvements for IT operations.
• Consulting with stakeholders to assess computing needs and system requirements.
• Inspecting, testing, and diagnosing computer equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Planning and coordinating IT-related equipment installations, moves, additions, changes, and system enhancements.
• Planning, coordinating, and implementing network security measures.
• Providing end-user support for all applications and managing disk space for the entire network.
• Maintaining an accurate inventory of all technological devices and ensuring secure storage of backup tapes.

Physical Requirements

The role involves certain physical demands necessary for performing duties effectively:

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Proficiency in using computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to move up and down stairs and ramps.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in IT projects and transformation roles. The ability to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors is also expected.
