Cluster IT Projects & Transformation Assistant Manager

About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Cluster IT Projects & Transformation Assistant Manager for a full-time position. This role involves managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the security and efficiency of all systems. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, manage, maintain, test, evaluate, and repair computer networks, workstations, server systems, and associated hardware/software.
• Manage user accounts and maintain computer/telephone rooms.
• Train users on proper system use and security protocols.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware, software, LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity.
• Respond to program error messages and provide network communications support and technical guidance.
• Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements; consult on computing needs and system requirements.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose computer equipment and systems.
• Plan and coordinate IT equipment installations, moves, additions, changes, and system enhancements.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
• Provide end-user support for all applications and manage disk space across the network.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all technological devices and ensure backup tapes are secured.

Operational Duties and Standards

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Address guest service needs and assist other employees as required.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, including appropriate telephone etiquette.
• Serve as a role model and initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, identifying and implementing improvements for efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Proficiency in using computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems for information entry and retrieval.
• Ability to move up and down stairs and ramps.
