Commissioning Instrument & Control Specialist Granulation

About the Role

Sundus is seeking a Commissioning Instrument & Control Specialist Granulation to join their team in the Eastern region. This full-time role involves executing and coordinating critical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for a Granulation plant, requiring 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate Instrumentation & Control pre-commissioning and commissioning activities specifically for the Granulation plant.
• Review and implement approved commissioning procedures, test packs, loop-check procedures, commissioning schedules, and checklists.
• Verify instrumentation and control system readiness before first energization and plant start-up.
• Coordinate closely with various departments including Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, Operations, Engineering, as well as external vendors and technology licensors.
• Support systemization, subsystem handover, mechanical completion, punch-list clearance, and commissioning dossier preparation.
• Perform and supervise instrument inspection, calibration, continuity checks, termination checks, and loop checking.
• Conduct cold loop checks, hot loop checks, functional tests, and signal verification between field instruments and DCS/PLC.
• Verify DCS/PLC I/O signals, alarms, permissive, interlocks, sequences, trips, and control logic.
• Support testing of ESD, emergency shutdown, equipment protection, and safety-related control functions as applicable.
• Support commissioning of instrumentation associated with granulators, dryers, coolers, screens, crushers, conveyors, fans, pumps, dust collection, scrubbers, and associated process systems.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in commissioning instrumentation and control systems, preferably within a granulation or similar industrial plant environment.

Work Schedule

• The work schedule for this position is 6 days per week.
