  • Oversee the inspection, testing, calibration, and operational validation of HVAC components such as AHUs, chillers, compressors, fans, blowers, dampers, louvers, VFDs, and control systems.
  • Manage the integration and functional verification of HVAC automation systems, control panels, monitoring systems, interlocks, and fire and gas interfaces.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities with engineering, construction, QA/QC personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Lead engagements with classification societies, regulatory authorities, and client representatives during inspections, testing, audits, and approvals.
  • Ensure all HVAC commissioning activities adhere to HSE requirements, permit-to-work processes, hazardous area regulations, SOLAS, IMO, and classification society standards.
  • Lead troubleshooting, defect identification, punch-list management, corrective actions, and performance optimization activities.
  • Oversee the preparation and control of commissioning dossiers, test records, inspection reports, ITRs, mechanical completion documentation, RFCC/RFOC certificates, and acceptance records.
  • Direct FAT, SAT, final acceptance testing, system turnover, as-built documentation, and handover activities to ensure successful client acceptance and transition to operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in HVAC commissioning, preferably within the maritime or offshore drilling industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing complex HVAC systems for new-build projects.
  • Strong understanding of project specifications, classification society requirements, and offshore regulatory standards.
