About the Opportunity

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced Core Logging Geologist to join a mineral exploration team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to supporting exploration programs, with a primary focus on base metals and a strong emphasis on gold exploration.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed geological logging of drill core and managing samples. This position contributes significantly to exploration targeting through geological interpretation and the integration of drilling data. The role requires excellent geological interpretation skills and strict adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed geological, structural, alteration, mineralization, and geotechnical logging of diamond drill core.
• Accurately identify and record lithological units, mineral assemblages, alteration styles, and structural features.
• Support exploration targeting through geological interpretation and integration of drilling data.
• Ensure accurate sample selection, marking, and preparation in accordance with QA/QC procedures.
• Maintain high-quality geological databases and ensure data integrity.
• Work closely with drilling contractors and exploration teams to coordinate drilling activities and core handling.
• Assist in geological mapping, trench logging, and field reconnaissance as required.
• Interpret exploration results and contribute to technical reports and daily progress updates.
• Follow company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and maintain safe work practices.
• Support resource evaluation activities by providing accurate geological data.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Core Logging Geologist or in a similar mineral exploration role.
• Demonstrated expertise in geological interpretation and adherence to industry standards.
• Proven ability to work effectively in remote field environments.

Work Environment

This is a field-based position requiring extended rotations at remote exploration sites. The role demands a willingness to travel and adapt to flexible schedules based on project requirements.
