About Jumeirah and the Role

Jumeirah, a global leader in luxury hospitality and a member of Dubai Holding, operates a portfolio of 29 properties across 11 countries in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. The brand is recognized worldwide for its distinguished beachfront resorts, esteemed city hotels, and exclusive residences, synonymous with warm service and crafting distinctive experiences. This full-time role is for a Director of Human Resources to join Jumeirah The Red Sea in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Director of Human Resources will provide leadership and strategic direction to the HR function at Jumeirah The Red Sea. This position involves developing and executing HR strategies aligned with corporate and regional objectives, fostering a high-performing team, and driving continuous improvement across all HR domains to support the property's operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to the HR team to enhance knowledge, skill sets, and share best practices, cultivating a high-performing HR function.
  • Develop and implement the property HR strategy in alignment with corporate and regional HR directives, monitoring execution to achieve objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on maximizing productivity, devolving HR responsibilities, and building leadership capability through senior and middle management teams.
  • Ensure effective two-way communication between property HR and corporate/regional HR, coordinating internal communications to deliver relevant and timely messages.
  • Plan and manage the annual HR budget and capital expenditure process, ensuring effective monitoring of Profit & Loss statements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience across talent acquisition, employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational development within luxury hospitality environments.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing HR teams and collaborating with senior leadership to advance business objectives, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
  • Extensive experience supporting pre-openings, large-scale recruitment projects, and workforce planning for luxury hotels and resorts across the Middle East.
  • Strong expertise in talent management, succession planning, performance management, and implementing people-focused strategies that enhance employee experience and retention.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at Jumeirah The Red Sea in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic luxury hospitality setting, contributing to a globally recognized brand.
