About the Role
Apparel Group is seeking an Executive Logistics to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on providing essential support to stores and brand teams while ensuring seamless coordination across various departments within the group.
Position Objective
The primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive support to retail stores and brand teams as needed. This includes ensuring efficient coordination with various internal departments to maintain smooth operations and logistical processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify freight invoices against quotes and duties against value, ensuring attention to detail.
- Maintain and update the master file for freight and duty payments, along with other necessary details.
- Consolidate invoices, HS Code summaries, and applications for Delivery Advice (DA) and Certificate of Origin (CO) with accurate information.
- Book shipments through various vendors, securing the best possible rates.
- Update overseas shipment files, coordinate customs clearance, and plan delivery schedules accordingly.
- Collect delivery orders from shipping lines and freight forwarding companies in a timely manner.
- Obtain necessary certificates from the Chamber of Commerce.
- Support stores with stationary and IT requirements during opening and closing procedures.
- Coordinate with the Club Apparel team for customer data and the Marketing team for graphic design needs.
- Prepare and check stock variance reports upon request.
- Follow up with the legal department regarding trade licenses.
- Collect daily purchase reports from stores.
- Compile various reports as required, utilizing master data from the data entry team.
- Coordinate with the Accounts and Finance department for voucher payments to principals.
- Hand over GCC-related stock documents to the logistics department.
- Coordinate with the Inventory Control department for stock-related issues.
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports as requested by the team.
- Prepare and submit regular store visit reports to superiors.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. A strong aptitude for detail-oriented tasks and effective coordination is essential for success in this position.
Work Type and Location
This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia. The role requires active engagement and coordination across various departments and external vendors.
