Role Purpose

The Registrar / Senior Registrar is responsible for effective diagnosis and treatment, maintaining patient safety, and supporting clinical excellence. This is achieved through collaboration, continuous professional development, and participation in training and educational activities within the hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, professional, and ethical clinical services to patients.
• Diagnose and treat patients effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medical records.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and professional ethical standards.
• Participate in clinical audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support coordinated care and effective communication among healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient-centered care while maintaining professional communication with patients and their families.

• Promote patient satisfaction through timely diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Support effective patient engagement and adherence to treatment plans.

Professional Development and Training

• Maintain clinical knowledge and skills through continuous professional development.
• Participate in academic and training activities, including education and mentorship.
• Support the supervision and development of junior physicians and medical trainees.
• Contribute to maintaining excellence in medical practice and clinical service delivery.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in a relevant medical field.
