The Role of Financial Analyst

Syarah is seeking a Financial Analyst to maintain control over budgeting, planning, and analysis. This full-time role requires structured thinking and organizational skills, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide business partnering and foster deeper understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets using various budgeting techniques, including zero-based and incremental budgeting.
• Develop business unit-specific budgets and forecasts, then consolidate them into an overall budget or forecast.
• Monitor, track, and compare financial performance against budgeted figures and industry averages.
• Conduct analysis and prepare scenarios based on management requests.
• Prepare documentation and analysis as requested by relevant parties.
• Create dashboards and presentations for management.
• Prepare trends, appraisals, analysis, and dashboards as requested by management.
• Provide necessary analysis and documentation to fulfill requirements.
• Complete monthly reporting, dashboards, and analysis by established deadlines.
• Develop ad-hoc financial models to support business unit management in decision-making.
• Prepare and communicate information packs to investors periodically.
• Monitor the manpower budget and coordinate with HR on new hirings.
• Prepare scenarios, presentations, and analysis to support long, medium, and short-term plans.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
