Housekeeping Attendant

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant for The Ritz-Carlton brand in the Red Sea region of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service. The successful candidate will uphold the "Gold Standards" of The Ritz-Carlton, contributing to a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Prepare and transport supply carts to assigned areas.
• Enter guest rooms following proper procedures, ensuring vacancy before entry.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies.
• Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items; make beds and fold terry.
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items.
• Verify all appliances are present and in working order.
• Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others and collaborate with the team to achieve common goals.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and over 25 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Qualifications and Experience

• No high school diploma or *** equivalent is required.
• No related work experience is required (0-1 year experience).
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No specific license or certification is required.
