About the Role

Rotana Jabal Omar Makkah is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join its team in Makkah. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 year of experience who are committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within a hotel environment.

Role Overview

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for executing daily assigned duties under the guidance of supervisors. Your primary focus will be to ensure that guest rooms, bathrooms, and designated public areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained, adhering strictly to hotel policies and procedures to provide a comfortable experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor, ensuring accurate sign-out in the key log book.
• Clean rooms and bathrooms, performing various duties as required.
• Ensure fire exits and stairways remain clear of any obstructions.
• Check for and report any maintenance work required immediately.
• Pick up litter from corridors and pathways.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, dust and wipe furniture, and empty ashtrays and wastebaskets.
• Make beds, wash sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors, and polish brass and metal fixtures.
• Replenish bathroom and room supplies as needed.
• Tidy and neatly arrange guest toilet articles on vanity tops and spot clean carpets when necessary.
• Clean and maintain guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas to ensure they are neat and tidy at all times.
• Remove Room Service trays and trolleys from guestrooms and corridors.
• Inform valet service to collect guests' clothes for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing services.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 year of experience in a similar housekeeping role, preferably within a hospitality setting. The ability to follow instructions, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards are essential.
