HSE Coordinator Rig (Oil & Gas) )

About the Role

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator - Rig (Oil & Gas) to support Health, Safety, and Environmental activities for oil and gas operations in Saudi Arabia, specifically within the Eastern Province. This full-time role involves coordinating and monitoring HSE activities, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco and project HSE requirements, and fostering a strong safety culture across operational sites. Candidates with 5-10 years of experience in both Rig/Drilling and Non-Rig Oil & Gas environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and project safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and site safety assessments.
• Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards, recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor and support the implementation of Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and risk assessment processes.
• Participate in incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety performance records.
• Coordinate and conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, HSE awareness sessions, and safety training programs.
• Organize and participate in emergency response drills, ensuring personnel familiarity with emergency procedures.
• Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other HSE-critical equipment.
• Participate in safety meetings and communicate HSE alerts, lessons learned, and safety initiatives.
• Follow up on observations, audit findings, and non-conformances to ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Coordinate with project management, supervisors, contractors, and client representatives on HSE-related matters.
• Monitor environmental compliance, waste management, spill prevention, and other environmental protection requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in HSE roles within the oil and gas sector.
• Previous experience working on Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred.
• Saudi Aramco RTS approval/experience will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Rig/Drilling operations or Non-Rig Oil & Gas operations will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE requirements, standards, and procedures.
• Good understanding of PTW, JSA, Risk Assessment, HAZID, Incident Investigation, and Emergency Response.
• Experience conducting HSE inspections, audits, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training programs.

Certifications

• NEBOSH IGC certification is highly preferred.
• Additional certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, First Aid, H2S, Confined Space, or Fire Safety will be advantageous.

Required Skills

• Strong reporting, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in field and operational environments.

Work Environment

This role is based in Saudi Arabia and requires working in operational field environments within the oil and gas industry. The position is full-time, and salary details will be discussed during the interview process.
