About the Role
Red Sea Global is seeking a full-time Instructor - Adventure to deliver safe, engaging, and memorable land-based adventure experiences across The Red Sea destination. This role operates within a luxury adventure tourism environment, where safety, guest satisfaction, and environmental stewardship are paramount. The Instructor supports the preparation and maintenance of adventure venues, equipment, and activity locations, ensuring all assets meet the highest operational standards. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver guided land-based adventure activities, including hiking, trekking, mountain biking, climbing, archery, high ropes, and quad biking, in accordance with approved procedures and service standards.
- Conduct guest safety briefings and equipment demonstrations, supervising guests to ensure their safety, comfort, and enjoyment throughout activities.
- Assess guest capability and adjust activities as appropriate to maintain safety and experience quality.
- Monitor weather, terrain, and environmental factors before and during activities, promoting environmental awareness and Leave No Trace principles.
- Provide exceptional customer service, clear activity instructions, and professional responses to guest enquiries, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), Emergency Response Plans (ERPs), and safety requirements.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies, supporting accident reporting and incident documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Instructor and wider Adventure team, supporting operational setup, logistics, and daily activity scheduling.
- Participate in training sessions, emergency drills, and operational briefings, contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
- Complete operational reports, equipment inspection records, incident reports, and activity documentation accurately.
Equipment and Asset Management
- Prepare, inspect, clean, and maintain adventure equipment before and after each activity.
- Report damaged, defective, or missing equipment promptly.
- Assist with loading, transporting, setting up, and dismantling equipment and operational assets.
- Maintain equipment inventories and complete required inspection records.
- Ensure activity areas, trails, and operational facilities remain clean, safe, and guest-ready.
Qualifications and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Wilderness First Aid or internationally recognised First Aid certification.
- Basic Land Navigation and GPS navigation experience.
- At least one recognised National Governing Body (NGB) certification in an adventure activity (*, climbing, mountain biking, archery, high ropes, quad biking).
- Minimum 2–3 years' experience delivering outdoor adventure or recreation activities within tourism, hospitality, or sports operations.
- Previous experience within luxury tourism or remote destinations is advantageous.
- Leave No Trace certification is desirable.

The Instructor is expected to maintain operational excellence, support the growth of the adventure portfolio, and uphold a strong safety culture. The position involves working outdoors in diverse environmental conditions as part of a dedicated team, contributing to environmental conservation initiatives and sustainable operating practices.
