About the Role

Red Sea Global, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Red Sea Sports & Entertainment Company (RSSE), is seeking a Senior Instructor - Adventure. This full-time position supports the AKUN Adventure management team in the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of inland adventure operations across The Red Sea destination. The role is central to developing and implementing a diverse portfolio of adventure activities and immersive guest experiences, aligning with RSSE's commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.

Role Purpose and Context

The Senior Instructor – Adventure plays a key part in implementing the adventure program by ensuring operational readiness, instructor capability, activity planning, and the consistent delivery of safe, engaging, and memorable experiences. This includes providing day-to-day guidance to instructors, promoting operational best practices, and upholding the highest standards of safety, service, and environmental stewardship. The position contributes to positioning The Red Sea as a leading global destination for regenerative tourism and adventure, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of AKUN adventure experiences, inland trails, and activity routes throughout The Red Sea destination.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering adventure activities while ensuring compliance with approved operating procedures and safety standards.
  • Supervise daily adventure operations and provide on-site leadership during activity delivery.
  • Coach, mentor, and support Adventure Instructors to maintain consistent operational standards and exceptional guest service.
  • Monitor instructor performance and provide ongoing operational guidance and professional development.
  • Ensure all venues, trails, equipment, vehicles, and operational assets remain clean, safe, service-ready, and fully operational.
  • Coordinate activity logistics, equipment allocation, and operational readiness across multiple locations.
  • Monitor weather conditions, trail status, guest capability, equipment suitability, and environmental risks, adjusting operations where necessary.
  • Support management in implementing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), and Emergency Response Plans (ERPs).
  • Apply local regulations, international adventure tourism standards, and recognized industry best practices.
  • Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, and work instructions, and support the preparation of accurate operational reports and documentation.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure environmental sustainability principles and Leave No Trace practices are integrated into daily operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, instructor capability, guest experiences, and departmental processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 4–5 years of experience within adventure tourism, outdoor recreation, hospitality, sports operations, or luxury guest experience environments.
  • Proven experience delivering adventure sports and outdoor recreation activities within premium tourism or hospitality settings.
  • Practical understanding of luxury hospitality operations and premium guest expectations.
  • Ability to perform effectively within remote and dynamic operational environments.
  • Previous experience within Saudi Arabia, remote destinations, or luxury tourism operations is advantageous.

Work Environment and Collaboration

The Senior Instructor will work collaboratively with internal departments, resort partners, local stakeholders, and external service providers. This collaboration ensures operational alignment, regulatory compliance, effective communication, and continuous improvement across all AKUN adventure experiences within The Red Sea destination. The role requires a commitment to fostering a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused team culture.
