About ASMO

ASMO is a joint venture formed by DHL and Aramco, leveraging DHL’s logistics expertise and Aramco’s extensive supply chain ecosystem. The company aims to establish new benchmarks in procurement and supply chain services, supporting growth across industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. Initially focusing on Saudi Aramco and its Affiliates, ASMO plans to expand its services to all industrial sectors within Saudi Arabia and eventually the wider MENA region.

The Role of IT Analyst

ASMO is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to manage IT operations across assigned remote sites. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology services that support critical warehouse, logistics, and industrial operations. The IT Analyst acts as the primary IT representative for site management, coordinating daily activities, field support resources, and third-party vendors, while ensuring adherence to corporate IT standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary IT representative for assigned remote sites.
  • Support the execution of ASMO's IT infrastructure and service management strategy across remote locations.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity policies, and architecture standards.
  • Participate in technology planning, infrastructure lifecycle management, and site readiness activities.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Identify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee incident, service request, problem, and change management activities.
  • Manage the availability and performance of site IT infrastructure, including network, wireless, end-user computing, printing, collaboration, and supporting systems.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and technical leadership for onsite IT Operators and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

Technical Operations and Site Support

  • Coordinate infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Plan and coordinate infrastructure deployments, relocations, expansions, and commissioning activities.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 onsite technical support.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user computers, operational hardware, and network components.
  • Support warehouse systems, including WMS connectivity and availability.
  • Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs), MSPs, and third-party vendors during incidents.
  • Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity issues.
  • Perform hardware replacement and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk, Infrastructure Team, Cybersecurity Team, Business Application Team, Facilities Management, Warehouse Operations, and Project Management Office.

Documentation, Reporting, and Improvement

  • Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation.
  • Monitor site health and proactively identify infrastructure and service management risks.
  • Ensure SLA compliance for incidents and service requests.
  • Support efficient utilization of IT assets and minimize equipment downtime and replacement costs.
  • Assist with inventory verification and asset lifecycle management.
  • Support cost-effective vendor engagement, review and validate vendor deliverables, and assist with procurement activities and technical evaluations.
  • Execute approved Infrastructure and Service Management changes, participate in CAB implementation activities, validate post-change service stability, and document implementation outcomes.
  • Maintain documentation including network diagrams, asset records, configuration documentation, site documentation, and knowledge articles.
  • Prepare regular operational and performance reports, reporting site health, infrastructure availability, SLA performance, and major incidents.
  • Provide management with recommendations on operational improvements, technology refresh, and risk mitigation.
  • Track recurring issues and coordinate permanent corrective actions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar IT Analyst role.
