Role Summary

The Kids Club Attendant is responsible for ensuring the delivery of The Ritz-Carlton's "Gold Standards" within the recreation facility. This full-time position involves overseeing guest activities, maintaining facility cleanliness, and responding to emergencies. The role requires adherence to established procedures and a commitment to guest safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce the rules and regulations of the recreation facility.
• Monitor activities within the recreational facility and respond to emergencies in accordance with local operating procedures.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies, including washing and mopping the facility.
• Identify and report situations where guests may not be able to safely participate in an activity to a supervisor or manager.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Ensure personal appearance and uniform are clean and professional.
• Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Provide support to coworkers to ensure understanding of tasks.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and objects exceeding 50 pounds with assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Capacity to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and service ramps.
• Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Performance of other reasonable job duties as requested.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Kids Club Attendant position should have 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires the ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, and to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects. Proficiency in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems is also necessary.

Team Collaboration

This role involves assisting management in various tasks including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. The Kids Club Attendant will serve as a role model and the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process, contributing to a supportive and effective team environment.
