Senior Kids Club Attendant

About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a Senior Kids Club Attendant to join their team. This full-time position involves encouraging guest participation in recreation activities, ensuring a fun and safe environment, and providing information on available facilities. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Provide information to guests regarding available recreation facilities and activities.
• Enforce recreation facility rules and regulations to ensure guest and member safety.
• Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately to emergencies according to local operating procedures.
• Identify situations where guests may not safely participate in an activity and inform a supervisor or manager.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications.
• Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.

Operational Standards and Guest Service

• Follow company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving common goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects weighing over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
