Kids Club Attendant

About the Role

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Kids Club Attendant to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time position involves serving as a key resource for all recreation activities on the property, with a focus on child activities. The role requires 0-1 years of experience and is integral to ensuring a fun, relaxing, and safe environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide information to guests regarding available recreation facilities, including pools, beaches, entertainment zones, fitness centers, and child activity centers.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for participation in recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere while ensuring adherence to recreation facility rules and regulations for guest safety and welfare.
• Observe activity within recreational facilities and respond appropriately to emergencies in accordance with local operating procedures.
• Provide cashier services in facilities that include point-of-sale transactions.
• Assist with group activities and events during private functions within recreation facilities.
• Identify situations where guests may not safely participate in an activity and inform supervisors or managers.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications.
• Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.

Operational Duties and Professional Conduct

• Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, including answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 25 pounds with assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
