About the Role

Cactus Communications, through its flagship brand Editage, is seeking a Linguistics Specialist Saudi Arabic (Northern) to join its global network of freelance contributors. This remote, part-time position in Saudi Arabia involves supporting ongoing AI and language-based projects.

Role Context

The specialist will contribute to various linguistic tasks on a flexible, task-based schedule. This role is designed for bilingual speakers who can provide expertise in Saudi Arabic (Northern) and English, ensuring high-quality linguistic output for diverse project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine text, translations, and captions across general subject areas such as travel, food, lifestyle, and finance.
• Transcribe conversations and perform subsequent quality checks.
• Label or annotate voice, text, or image content accurately.
• Review and correct outputs generated by AI models.
• Assist in the localization of content specifically for AI models.
• Accurately identify and label dialect variations within linguistic data.

Candidate Requirements

• Near-native level proficiency in the target language, Saudi Arabic (Northern).
• Strong command of the English language.
• Demonstrated excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to consistently follow specific instructions.

Work Arrangement

This is a part-time, remote freelance opportunity, offering flexibility for task-based work. Compensation is provided on a task-based model, aligning with project contributions.
