About the Role of Maintenance Engineer

Accor is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join its team. This full-time role involves overseeing and executing maintenance activities for various systems and equipment within a hotel that is part of the Accor network. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance for electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
• Monitor equipment condition and performance to identify potential failures and minimize downtime.
• Lead troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair activities for various system issues.
• Participate in new machinery installation, commissioning, testing, and production transfer projects.
• Take an active role in machine construction, modification, overhaul, refurbishment, and revision activities.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, checklists, technical procedures, and maintenance standards.
• Analyze recurring equipment failures and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
• Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Coordinate with operational departments to plan maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
• Manage and maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and technical documentation.
• Support the development and implementation of maintenance KPIs.
• Manage spare parts and maintenance materials, including stock monitoring and timely replenishment.
• Review technical specifications and support the selection and procurement of spare parts, tools, and services.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and electrical/mechanical installations.
• Assist in preparing maintenance budgets, annual plans, and capital expenditure proposals.
• Review equipment manuals, technical drawings, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Support the implementation and improvement of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Train, guide, and support maintenance technicians in proper troubleshooting, repair, and safe working practices.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are properly documented and completed within required timeframes.
• Participate in equipment performance reviews, reliability improvement programs, and energy-efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain technical readiness to respond to urgent breakdowns and critical equipment failures.
• Recommend technical improvements, equipment upgrades, and process modifications.
• Perform other assigned maintenance and engineering responsibilities.

Experience and Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance activities.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental compliance in maintenance operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within a hotel environment, requiring coordination with various operational departments. The role involves hands-on work with machinery and equipment, ensuring their safe and reliable operation.
