The Merchandiser Role

This full-time Merchandiser position is an integral part of the sales team, focusing on maximizing PepsiCo's on-shelf presence in all assigned outlets. The role involves ensuring adherence to planograms for both on-shelf and off-shelf displays and reporting any non-compliance. Additionally, the Merchandiser will gather and report market information to the pre-seller to identify selling opportunities. This role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Call on specific OT outlets according to the daily journey plan provided by the supervisor.
• Merchandise SSFL products within OT stores across various access points, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place Point of Sale (POS) material next to SSFL displays where applicable.
• Ensure all access points are merchandised in accordance with approved planograms.
• Rotate products using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method and remove sub-standard products.
• Maintain clean and fresh stock of SSF products on the shelf at all times.
• Monitor and report competitive activities in the market.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned OT customers or outlets.
• Provide daily activity reports for the prior day to the supervisor.
• Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns as required.
• Maintain appropriate personal appearance and professional behavior in line with the Frito Lay code of conduct.

Additional Duties

• Conduct in-store sampling sessions and in-store sampling and/or promotions when required.
• Report any non-compliance with agreed arrangements to the pre-seller immediately.
• Supply the pre-seller with the latest market information to capitalize on selling opportunities.
