Odoo Techno Functional Consultant

About the Role

QZ Information Technology Consultants Co. LLC (QZ Infomatics), an Odoo Silver Partner, is expanding its Odoo delivery team and seeking an Odoo Techno Functional Consultant. This full-time position is based in Saudi Arabia and involves taking ownership of customizations, integrations, and technical delivery for client implementations across the GCC and beyond. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules to meet specific client business requirements.
• Build and maintain integrations between Odoo and various third-party systems or APIs.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Odoo implementations to ensure efficient performance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to accurately translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Support data migration processes, module upgrades, and version updates for Odoo systems.
• Provide comprehensive technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to the support team.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Odoo development, including proficiency in Python, XML, and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of Odoo's ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), module architecture, and standard business workflows across areas such as Sales, Inventory, Accounting, and Manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience with REST/XML-RPC API integrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, including in a remote setup.
• Prior experience working within an Odoo partner or implementation environment is considered a significant advantage.
• Good written English communication skills are essential for documentation and effective cross-team collaboration.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with QZ Infomatics, an Odoo Silver Partner. The role involves working on ERP implementations for clients across the GCC and beyond, contributing to a growing Odoo delivery team.
