Outbound Supervisor

About the Role

Ninja is seeking an Outbound Supervisor to manage daily outbound warehouse operations. This full-time role involves ensuring that orders are picked, consolidated, staged, and dispatched accurately and on schedule. The supervisor will lead the outbound team, manage manpower, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to quality, food safety, and general safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all daily outbound operations, including picking, consolidation, staging, loading, and dispatch processes.
• Allocate manpower effectively based on workload, order volume, and shift requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as order accuracy, productivity, throughput, backlog, and on-time dispatch.
• Resolve operational issues and address outbound discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with Inventory, Stock Control, Distribution, Transportation, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
• Ensure the proper handling of damaged, expired, and temperature-sensitive products.
• Monitor team attendance, performance, and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare comprehensive shift reports and follow up on performance improvement actions.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance warehouse processes and overall productivity.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in warehouse, outbound, fulfillment, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Demonstrated previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of outbound warehouse processes and order fulfillment methodologies.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other warehouse operational systems.
• Good understanding of FIFO/FEFO principles, inventory control, food safety, and warehouse safety regulations.
