Outbound Supervisor

About the Role

Ninja (quick-commerce) is seeking an Outbound Supervisor to manage daily outbound warehouse operations in Jeddah, Makkah Province. This full-time role is critical for ensuring that orders are picked, consolidated, staged, and dispatched accurately and on time, maintaining compliance with quality, food safety, and safety standards.

Role Overview

The Outbound Supervisor will lead the outbound team, overseeing all aspects from order fulfillment to dispatch. This involves managing manpower, monitoring team performance, and resolving operational issues to maintain efficiency and accuracy within the warehouse environment. The role requires a proactive approach to process improvement and adherence to operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily outbound operations, including picking, consolidation, staging, loading, and dispatch processes.
• Allocate manpower effectively based on workload, order volume, and shift requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as order accuracy, productivity, throughput, backlog, and on-time dispatch.
• Resolve operational issues and address outbound discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate closely with Inventory, Stock Control, Distribution, Transportation, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
• Ensure proper handling and management of damaged, expired, and temperature-sensitive products.
• Monitor team attendance, performance, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare comprehensive shift reports and follow up on actions for performance improvement.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance warehouse processes and overall productivity.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in outbound warehouse operations or a similar supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Familiarity with quality, food safety, and general safety standards in a warehouse environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah Province. The role involves working within a dynamic quick-commerce warehouse setting, requiring active supervision and coordination with various operational teams.
