About the Role

Rosewood AMAALA is seeking an experienced Outlet Manager to oversee all aspects of outlet functions in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and involves directing, implementing, and maintaining a service and management philosophy aligned with hotel standards. The role ensures superior operational performance and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards, ensuring daily compliance at a superior level.
  • Oversee all aspects of the restaurant environment, including layout, table setups, capacity, hours of operation, and dress code.
  • Manage inventory by establishing par levels for supplies and equipment, completing requisitions, and ensuring proper storage, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Monitor and assist the Hostess in greeting and seating guests, anticipating needs, and promoting positive guest relations.
  • Handle guest complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction and monitoring reactions.
  • Ensure all food and beverage menus are available, in good condition, and that staff are knowledgeable about all items, preparation methods, and daily specials.
  • Inspect table setups, pick-up stations, and side stations for cleanliness, neatness, and adherence to departmental standards.

Operational Oversight and Systems Management

  • Maintain complete knowledge and proficiency in *** and manual system procedures, Seven Rooms, Costing and BirchStreet for ordering, and Oasys for payroll.
  • Review daily sales, resolve discrepancies with Accounting, and track revenue against budget.
  • Process all cashiering procedures in compliance with Accounting standards, including handling void checks and issuing manual checks when systems are down.
  • Run system-closing reports and ensure all server checks are closed before sign-out.
  • Complete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Coordinate with the Chef on daily specials and 86 items, ensuring staff awareness.
  • Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery, as well as efficient clearing and resetting of tables.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Prepare and adjust weekly work schedules based on staffing guidelines and business demands, documenting any late or absent associates.
  • Assign work and side duties, communicating changes and identifying tasks to maintain departmental standards.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and post-operation debriefings for each meal period.
  • Inspect staff grooming and attire, rectifying any deficiencies.
  • Constantly monitor staff performance, providing feedback, and handling disciplinary matters according to hotel standards.
  • Conduct formal training programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Foster a cooperative working environment to maximize productivity and associate morale.

Health, Safety, and Brand Standards

  • Adhere to all departmental and hotel policies, service procedures, and standards, including brand, LQA, and FORBES guidelines.
  • Take reasonable care of personal health and safety, as well as that of others in the workplace.
  • Cooperate fully with the Hotel’s Safety & Health policies and report any potential hazards or incidents to management.
  • Participate in safety and health planning and implementation, and attend all required training sessions.
  • Ensure correct maintenance and use of all equipment, reporting urgent repairs to Engineering.
  • Represent the brand by consistently applying brand standards in all operations.
