About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking a Part Sales Specialist Early Career Trainee for a 12-month internship opportunity in Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This remote position is designed for individuals with 0-1 year of experience who are ready to develop a proactive and strategic approach to sales within a dynamic industrial environment.

Role Overview

The Part Sales Specialist Early Career Trainee focuses on driving operational excellence throughout the Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) process. This role involves close coordination with customers, internal sales, engineering, operations, finance, and execution teams. The primary objective is to maximize business opportunities, enhance responsiveness, support critical outage planning, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain robust pipeline management, including regular pacing updates, win/loss analysis, and commercial risk identification.
  • Ensure timely responses to RFQs, customer inquiries, and commercial requests, escalating critical issues and opportunities proactively.
  • Proactively follow up on RFQs, purchase orders, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Support pricing strategy discussions, commercial negotiations, and offer alignment.
  • Identify growth opportunities for parts sales and long-term business expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with plant stakeholders, providing proactive support.
  • Support customer requirements related to engineering clarification, customized parts, and consumables.
  • Coordinate outage preparation activities, ensuring parts availability aligns with outage schedules, including customer visits and commercial engagement plans.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with buyers, sourcing teams, and department heads, facilitating alignment between customer procurement and internal execution functions.
  • Coordinate with fulfillment teams to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction, conducting regular follow-up meetings to address challenges.
  • Support field activities during outages and gather technical feedback from site teams, collaborating with engineering for urgent customer requirements.
  • Support cash flow forecasting, revenue estimation, financial planning, PD management, delivery coordination, and warehouse activities.
  • Improve operational efficiency through the utilization of digital tools and AI.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 year of professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Work Environment

This is a remote position. Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
