About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a part-time PHD Peer Reviewer for Computer Science & Cybernetics to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This is a long-term, stable remote position.

Role Overview

The Peer Reviewer will be responsible for evaluating academic manuscripts submitted for publication. This role requires a strong understanding of research methodologies and a commitment to maintaining objectivity and confidentiality throughout the review process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the originality and novelty of submitted manuscripts, determining their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verify that manuscripts thoroughly incorporate and cite relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are supported by data and are significant to the field.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback, highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Qualifications and Experience

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Computer Science or Cybernetics.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
